We strive to provide more opportunities to see European
films by supporting educational and nonprofit venues showing such movies.
In particular, we can provide funding and/or assistance to market
such events
to the general public.
We support a wide spectrum of projects, from Classic European movies to provide younger audiences with an alternative to Hollywood while showcasing recent movies by young talented European filmmakers.
Examples of supported events:
- Various European series at the American Cinematheque: “Eurocinema series” (June 07), the “German Currents – new films from Germany” (September 07), the Andrzej Wajda Retrospective (December 07), the "New Croatian Cinema" series (May 08) and the "Recent Spanish Cinema" series (June 08).
