Because many films are international co-productions, defining a film's nationality isn’t always straightforward. We prioritize films that reflect European worldviews, cultures, and storytelling traditions.
Your event must be non-commercial and preferably organized by a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We support initiatives that promote European cinema in the U.S. and promote intercultural understanding.
We offer financial support and/or technical assistance, particularly with outreach and promotion efforts.
No. We do not fund film production or commercial distribution.

We enthusiastically welcome event proposals aimed at engaging the next generation of European cinema filmgoers. We’re also interested in projects that honor the theatrical experience: watching films on the big screen and creating space for meaningful conversation around them.
